The Haven is a homeless shelter/community kitchen in Mattoon. This year. because of COVID, we will have no in-person activities. Instead, we are planning for the following: 1. Newspaper article(s) highlighting the various food-distribution agencies in our area with a special focus on how the pandemic has altered things for them. 2. Five different Facebook Live interviews about The Havento run Sunday through Thursday. These will include interviews with Board members, staff, volunteers, past and present guests. 3. We will have a virtual showing of the film about homelessness, “Us and Them” .
