The Free Store at UTK Knoxville is dedicated to helping students meet their basic material needs while preventing landfill waste and will be hosting two events in honor of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. The first event will be a pop-up shop on Monday 11/18 from 11 am – 2 pm, giving away free donated items to students on campus. The second event will take place on Thursday 11/21 starting at 3 pm and will be a screening of the movie A Road to Home. A documentary that highlights the experiences of 6 LGBTQ individuals and their struggle with homelessness.
