Here is our announcement of events:

In recognition of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, Chico State Basic Needs is planning a series of events, including the Hungry Wildcat Food Pantry’s 10-Year Anniversary and Basic Needs Open House.

Over the summer, the Pantry underwent construction thanks to the hard work of FMS and a $17,807 North State Grocery Recovery Capacity Grant through Contra Costa Solano County Food Bank, our Feeding America contracted Food Bank.

We invite you to check out the new Pantry and join in Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week activities as we celebrate 10 years of service to the campus and community.

Join Basic Needs to celebrate the Pantry with light appetizers, tours of the renovated Pantry, and a chance to sample produce from the Organic Vegetable Project. Please RSVP for the 10 Year Anniversary of the Hungry Wildcat Food Pantry here. Wednesday, Nov 15th, 4:30 - 6 p.m. Student Services Center Plaza.
