Friday November 20, 2026 Pellissippi State Community College will have board members, donors and employees assembling over 100 Thanksgiving Food Boxes. Applicants apply online, and the food boxes are delivered to their chosen campus.
During the month of November, Tennessee Board of Regents which is the governing body of Pellissippi, will host it's annual food drive. TBR system includes 13 community colleges and 24 colleges of applied technology, Pellissippi has won this food drive for several years. Pellissippi State Community College collected just over 66,000 items for the Tennessee Board of Regents’ 27th Annual Food Drive Challenge in 2025, winning the Tier 2 category for larger enrollments for another consecutive year.
Of the 66,012 items Pellissippi State collected, more than 3,360 were food items, over 2,380 were school supplies, 521 were household items and remaining donations came in the form of hygiene products, pet food and more. The college also raised over $30,500 in cash contributions, which count in the collection as two items per dollar raised.
