Endeavors will be hosting a virtual panel webinar discussion to include Texas leaders on the subject of Hunger and Homelessness on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM (CT). Our goal for this event is to build awareness for the Texans who must choose between rent or a warm meal and educate the community on the types of homelessness recognized in Texas, the statistics behind hunger and homelessness, and the faces and stories behind each statistic. This panel will also highlight resources and community services available to individuals experiencing or at-risk of homelessness, including Endeavors’ newly-formed Youth Resilient Project (YRP).

Panelists include:
• Eric Samuels, President/CEO Texas Homeless Network
• Leilah Powell, Executive Director, Local Initiatives Support Corp and SARAH Board Chair
• Susan Goodell, CEO, El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank
• Endeavors’ Leadership Team

Additionally, we will also be exhibiting a virtual art gallery with pieces both inspired and created by clients with first-hand experience of the dangers and difficulties of homelessness.
