The events we have planned are:
Monday, November 13th: Hunger Educational Workshop (information about hunger and interactive poverty simulation provided by Atlanta Community Food Bank Education Team) and volunteer opportunity at Lawrenceville Co-op Food Bank.
Tuesday, November 14th (in-progress): Panel discussion on Shelter Assistance, currently looking for local agencies that provide shelter assistance to speak to our students
Wednesday, November 15th: Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week Action Fair(in-progress): local organizations that provide food and shelter assistance will be tabling, informing students about their services and volunteer opportunities at their agencies. Later in the evening, will be screening, Lead Me Home, a documentary on Netflix and will have reflection questions for discussion after the documentary.
Thursday, November 16th: Students will volunteer at the Stone Mt division of Atlanta Community Food Bank.
