Throughout the month of November, Greenbrier Public Schools and Harps (15 North Broadview Street Greenbrier, AR 72058) will partner for the 2nd annual “Bags for Backpack” project. Harps will bundle and display grocery sacks of food that are appropriate and necessary for our Friday Food Backpack Program. Each grocery sack will contain approximately $10 worth a combination of items such as noodles, tuna, peanut butter, jello cups, granola bars, and more. Store customers and community members can simply purchase a $10 “Bag for Backpacks” to be donated to our school district and Friday backpack program. This project is a huge support to address childhood hunger among our student population.
