Greenbrier Public Schools, in partnership with Hometown Harps Grocery Store, is facilitating its annual month-long Hunger Awareness Campaign. Community members can purchase a $10 grocery sack of food pantry items displayed at Harps, but they can leave the grocery sack in the Greenbrier Public School shopping carts. All purchased groceries are delivered straight to one of the district’s seven food pantries. The sack of groceries are perfect to slip into a student’s backpack for the weekend, and include such items as peanut butter, granola bars, tuna packets, beef jerky, and more.
