This event is a mini design jam in which, attendees critique current NYC Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry initiatives (websites/apps); then self organize to brainstorm how a single system could be designed to connect those in need with those who give. Activities include: user testing current initiatives, story sharing from current un-homed individuals and their experience food searching, and conversations on how to heal the negative perception of homelessness.
