Reaching out across the State of Iowa during National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week. We have requested a proclamation from Governor Kim Reynolds and plan to have a special dinner November 16th at 4:30 at the Hilton Gardens Hotel in Johnston, IA. We will increase awareness of issues creating homelessness, how to prevent them and encourage entities, schools and faith-based entities to adopt a homelessness provider, case services entity or food pantry during the week and contribute funds or tangible goods during the week of Hunger and Homelessness.
