During the month of November, and particularly on November 7-14 & 21, 2020, MACH host “The Blanket Drive” were P.O.D.S. storage units are placed throughout central Alabama to collect new and gently used blankets, coats, hats, socks and other winter wear for distribution to the homeless, both sheltered and unsheltered. The donations are subsequently provided to local homeless shelters and services providers. Additionally, donations are provided to the unsheltered homeless during the annual Point-in-Time Count conducted the last 10-days of January 2021.
