To show our Zips pride in giving back to our community, ServeAkron has partnered with ZipAssist, Campus Cupboard, BEC, ZAB, The Salvation Army, and SBNC to offer a full week of volunteering opportunities!
Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week is a national, annual program taking place Nov. 17th – 22nd where people come together across the country to draw attention to the problems of hunger and homelessness.

Entire Month
• Winter Gear Donation Drive for Campus Cupboard
o Accepting clean, gently used hats, gloves, scarves, and coats.
o Donations can be dropped off at the Simmons Hall front desk or the Student Life front desk during business hours.

• Drop-In Service: Spread the Love

• Campus Cupboard Open House

• Paint With A Purpose w/ Campus Cupboard
o Time: 4-6 pm
o Location: Simmons Hall Lobby
o A guided paint class where we paint a UA themed design on a canvas for people to take home.
 Join ZipAssist and Melissa Stark from Stark Arts for a guided canvas painting experience featuring a UA-themed design. Donations to the Campus Cupboard are requested; bring non-perishable food items with you, give online at uakron.edu/give, or contact us for more information.
 Limited to 25 spots and open to UA faculty and full-time staff only. Reserve your spot here.
