Our youth will hear speakers from our Local Homeless Shelter on Friday night. They will hand out food at our church’s food bank Saturday morning and then go and work at a women’s homeless shelter following that. Then the will participate in various homeless activities, building boxes to sleep in Saturday night in front of our church, panhandling on our town square to raise money for the local Homeless Shelter, putting together individual Survival Bags for the homeless that live under the bridges in downtown Clevelend, making blankets for the homeless and will participate in an activity where they are actually homeless for a day and have to figure out how to get a job, find housing, what documentation they need, how much money they need, etc.
