Our youth will be participating in a Homeless Awareness Sleep-out the weekend of November 12-20 where the youth will sleep in cardboard boxes in front of the church. During this time they will work at our church’s Free Farmers Market handing out food to those in need, working at a Women’s and Children’s Homeless Shelter, making personal care kits for the homeless in downtown Cleveland who live under the bridges, making no-sew blankets for two homeless shelters and will panhandle on our downtown Square for money donations for the two shelters. We will also have speakers from the homeless shelters we are donating to and a speaker from a drug and alcohol recovery center. Three Holiday Concerts will also be held at the church this weekend where offerings will be collected for the shelters.
