We are hosting activities 11/12-11/15:

11/12: Nutrition & Wellness Cook-off: participants compete to cook meals using ingredients from the pantry

11/13: Experts’ Panel: experts in basic needs research and crisis intervention speak about basic needs issues

11/14: Financial Wellness Workshop: students learn about budgeting, financial literacy, and other practices

11/15: Basic Needs Case Competition Closing: throughout the week, we are hosting a 3-level case competition on basic needs; campus (housing security), county (Alameda County Community Food Bank food distribution practices), state (basic needs student experiences)

11/12-11/14: Weigh Your Waste Events at the dining halls: students weigh the waste of the plate waste they generate

11/12-11/15: mental health awareness: mental health programming to uplift the intersection of basic needs and mental health

11/12-11/15: social media posts about hunger & homelessness

11/12, 11/15: CalFRESH clinics to enroll eligible students onto food assistance
