Connecting our student community to local resources. Educating students on our on-campus resources, services and support towards food, finances and more. Promoting our Golden Eagle Pantry hours of operation and highlighting our partners that have donated food items and hygiene kits available to our student community. Hosting a Thanksgiving Edition Food Distribution giving out 500 whole chickens and holiday sides to those that visit. Hosting a Campus Health Fair, where our Health Career Students are sharing informational resources on nutrition, stress, health and more. Promoting CalFresh Outreach and Application Assistance to Students. Promoting students to get involved by volunteering in the community, donating food items to the Pantry and donating to the “Fight the Hunger” campaign where proceeds go back to students to help them with food insecurity.
