• Eating Healthy on a College Budget (10 am – 11 am): Log on and learn about resources to make eating healthy affordable for your budget. Hosted by Health Education and Promotion. Join us on Zoom.
• CalFresh Q&A (12 pm – 1 pm): Come meet the Care Coordinator virtually and get your questions answered about CalFresh eligibility and the application process. Join us on Zoom.
Tuesday: 11/16
• Stockton Campus Pop-Up Warrior Food Pantry (10 am – 1:30 pm & 3 pm – 5 pm): The Warrior Food Pantry will be making an appearance at the Stockton Campus with our pop-up shop and providing students with a free bag of food and hygiene items. Register today.
• Stockton Campus Turkey Dinner Kit Giveaway (10 am – 1:30 pm & 3 pm – 5 pm): Up to 25 students can register to pick up a Turkey Dinner Kit with all of the fixings at the Stockton Campus. Register today.
• Mortgage Workshop (1 pm – 2 pm): Students can learn how to prepare for home financing and the lending process. The workshop is presented by Citibank, and hosted by Financial Wellness. Join us on Zoom.
• Mayo Clinic Live Cooking Demo (2 pm – 3 pm): Join our Registered Dietitian from the Mayo Clinic to prepare a nutritious meal on a budget. Join us on Zoom.
Wednesday: 11/17
• Turlock Campus Food Distribution – Curbside (10 am – 12 pm): Students can attend the curbside Food Distribution at University Circle to receive a free box of food, produce, and eggs. In-person pick-up.
Thursday: 11/18
• Basic Needs Ally Workshop (9 am – 12 pm): The Basic Needs Ally virtual workshop provides opportunities for virtual hands-on application on how to engage with students and become a resource for them in navigating food and housing insecurity. Join us on Zoom.
• Eating Healthy on a College Budget (10:30 am – 11 am): Join the Peer Health Educators on Instagram Live and learn about healthy eating on a budget @stanstate_healthed. Hosted by Health Education and Promotion.
• Turlock Campus Turkey Dinner Kit Giveaway (1 pm, until supplies last): Up to 75 students can visit the Warrior Food Pantry and pick up a Turkey Dinner Kit with all of the fixings at the Turlock Campus. In-person pick-up at the Student Services Building, room 128.
Friday: 11/19
• Noontrition: LIVE Food Demo (12 pm – 12:30 pm): Black Bean and Veggie Tostadas recipe card and contents can be picked up from the Warrior Food Pantry starting 11/17 at 1 pm. Students can then virtually watch along as a Campus member prepares the dish. Join us on Zoom.
