Laguna Beach United Methodist Church and Net-Works Church Laguna Beach are collaborating on morning beach cleanup events every other week since June 30, 2021. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 9am is Helping Hands From the Homeless Main Beach Cleanup #9. We provide breakfast and community building opportunities with LBPD Outreach Officers, church members, community members and the unhoused. Following an hour of cleaning the beach and parks and downtown Laguna Beach, we give $15 gift cards to the unhoused for local restaurant The Orange Inn. To date, more than 150 people have participated in this outreach in Laguna Beach.

Join us for a sleep-out to raise awareness about homelessness and experience what it is like to be unhoused. There will be a candlelight march and vigil, guest speakers, live music, and a mobile soup kitchen for dinner.
