We plan to have tables on campus the 17th and 20th of that week where we will be educating students about the food assistance programs available at UMass Boston. We will help in doing this by providing students budget recipes that can be made using ingredients available for free in our university’s food pantry. Additionally, we will be collecting petition signatures for our Hunger Free Campus campaign initiative.

On the 19th we will be collaborating with another club on campus called Boston Eats, where we will be making food bags with homemade peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that will be made in a professional kitchen using proper sanitary procedures. After we make these bags, we will be giving them out and dropping them off to people in need outside and in shelters
