– SFSC x MRULE (Multi Racial Unity Living Experience) Roundtable Discussion on Food and Collective Consciousness at Club Spartan (3rd Floor Case Hall, 842 Chestnut Rd. East Lansing, MI 48824)

Event #3: Wednesday, November 15th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
– SFSC x MSU Student Parent Resource Center Care Package at Case Hall (Room 334A, 842 Chestnut Rd. East Lansing, MI 48824)

Event #4: Friday, November 17th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
– SFSC x SLE Culinary Services Live Cooking Demo. at Brody Square (241 Brody W, East Lansing, MI 48825)

Event #1 is a food drive in conjunction with the MSU Alumni Office. From 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13th, students, faculty, and community members will be able to donate dry foods (requested goods listed on attached link) and receive swag. There may even be a special Spartan in attendance! The donations from the food drive will be used during Event #3 which is a collaboration between the Spartan Food Security Council and the MSU Student Parent Resource Center. Students and their families will be making/decorating baskets to be gifted to parents who remain on campus during the Thanksgiving break.

Event #2 is a roundtable discussion on campus. Event #4 is a live cooking demonstration with Executive Chef Luis “Ben” Segueda. He will be showcasing how to transform pantry staples (especially non-perishables) into quick, nutritious meals.
