The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB), the largest hunger-relief organization in New England, will be holding our 15th annual kick-off event to the holiday season called Chain of Giving on Thursday, November 19. This is our annual event tied to our Hunger Free Holidays campaign where we invite our closest donors, partners, friends, government officials including the MA Governor Baker and Boston Mayor Walsh, to form a "human chain" and symbolically unload the first delivery of turkeys into our building. This year is more important than ever before as MA is experiencing the largest increase to food insecurity, according to Feeding America. Our event sponsor is Ocean Spray and they intend to bring the #dreamschallenge to our event. Join us as we move this event virtually for a 30 min program and we will invite all guests to explore our virtual cooler in our warehouse to learn more about GBFB's COVID-19 response, and how you can help us this holiday season. You can learn more about how you can join here: https://www.gbfb.org/holidays/
