Emergency Housing Program: Creation and Development Process
Sacramento State is offering this webinar during the National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. This webinar is designed for any college campus exploring the development of an emergency housing program. The featured speakers will be Dr. Ed Mills, Vice President of Student Affairs, Samuel Jones, Executive Director of University Housing, and Danielle Muñoz, CARES office Case Manager. This multi-level presentation is geared towards administrators in student affairs, housing administrators, and basic needs coordinators/case managers. Topics covered will include funding sources, staffing structures, risk assessment, and implementation. The Sacramento State Emergency Housing program is entering its third year on campus this spring, and we have a lot of great information on lessons learned, best practices, and more! Please join us for this webinar if your campus has been considering an emergency housing program.
