Down & Out Homeless Fundraiser
November 19
7 p.m. CT
This year, we will be holding a live, virtual event due to COVID. Tune in for one hour to learn about homelessness in our community, hear an overview about Joppa and exciting new announcements, watch impactful video stories of homeless individuals, and learn about critical Fund-a-Need opportunities.
Registration is pay what you want; donations are tax-deductible. All proceeds will fund homeless outreach and winter survival programs.
Joppa is a Des Moines-based nonproft that helps homeless people survive, find housing and rebuild their lives. Since our founding, we have helped over 425 homeless individuals and families get off the streets. More than 80% remain in housing today.
