Thursday, Nov 18th, 6:30 - 8 pm. HHROC will present a webinar, "The Real Story from the Street: The Housing Crisis in OC" where attendees will hear from impacted individuals about their unhoused journeys and learn from volunteers doing direct street outreach.

Monday (11/15/21): Parfait building/Social Media Action: In this event, we will be collaborating with the on-campus gourmet dining services and providing a parfait building station along with having around 400 plates available for students to write down "When I feel hungry, I feel...". We will then display these plates along with constant social media actions to raise more awareness. (PRCC 11:30am-12:50pm)
Tuesday (11/16/21): We will be running a clothing and food drive tabling at our campus center and donating everything to a local shelter. (PRCC 1pm-2:30pm)
Wednesday (11/17/21): NJPIRG will be volunteering at the campus PantryRUN. (PRCC 11:30am-12:50pm)
Wednesday (11/17/21): Collaboration with PantryRUN for a Rice Event that shares all the different flavors of rice in the world and learn about what makes each dish unique. (PRCC 12:30pm-2:30pm)
Thursday (11/18/21): NJPIRG will be going to a local shelter to volunteer. (1pm-5pm)

We are running a food drive to stock the campus food pantry on Wednesday 11/17 from 3-6 in front of Kilmer's Market on Livingston Campus and in front of the Yard on College Ave. We'll also be collecting donations on Sunday 11/21 from 10-1 in front of the Stop and Shop in Highland Park.

Our fraternity has two events planned for that week. We actually dedicate the entire month of November to collecting donations which are then given to The Haven in Downtown Charlottesville. The first event we have is a "Sleep Out" on November 20th from 10pm - 5am. This is where we stay out in front of Bank of America on the Corner to collect more donations and spread awareness. The second event is a banquet being held on November 22nd which we will have guest speakers, raffles, and catered food. We would love to have you all come to each or even have a speaker from the organization for the banquet.

Clemson Food Collective is teaming up with Paw Pantry to participate in Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week!
We are encouraging students to donate pantry items to our food drive from Friday, Nov 12 - Tuesday, Nov 16 at the drop-off location in Cooper Library. (Due to Covid, only students are allowed access to Cooper Library.)
On Tuesday, Nov 16, we will be hosting a virtual Coffee Hour to discuss different topics of food insecurity, such as different forms of food insecurity, breaking the stigma, and increasing awareness to encourage university support.
On Wednesday, Nov 17, we will be volunteering with Paw Pantry to sort donations from the food drive and organizing the pantry.
